I love to travel and getting to know local people along the way.  I have found one of the quickest ways to become intimate with someone new is to share a laugh or better yet, a meal and lots of laughs.  Having a real interest in the food that people eat, I get to learn about who they are, how they live and what´s important to them.  I´m not a cook, but I love learning how to cook from people who are the real experts - home cooks.  I try to make my way into their hearts and kitchens so they can share the secret recipes of their local dishes.  The fun part is when I get to bring back the flavor of the country I´ve visited and share it with friends and family.
